Wellbeing and kindness

Gentle reminders that feelings, rest, confidence, and kindness all matter for learning too.

Be kind

Feelings check-in

Try asking: How do I feel right now? Calm, excited, worried, tired, proud, or something else?

Noticing a feeling is a good first step.

Rest and breaks

Brains learn better when they get little pauses. Stretching, breathing, drinking water, or resting your eyes can help.

Kindness

  • Say something encouraging
  • Help someone tidy up
  • Invite someone to join in
  • Notice when someone else has tried hard

Confidence reminder

You do not have to know everything straight away. Learning often means trying, making mistakes, and trying again.

Small challenge

Think of one kind thing you could do today, and one thing you are proud of from this week.
